Studio demos

Hi everybody!

What do you think about the studio out-takes that appear in  the deluxe editions of the first albums?

I really like "A Normal Story" from the Faith recording sessions. It sounds like a more optimistic song, maybe that's why it wasn't included on the album. But i feel that could've been a great album song.
 :)

I was a little bit frustrated the first time i've listened the new version of "3 imaginary boys". Although "Winter" is very good, almost of the live versions sound with a poor quality (unfortunately)... And i don't understand why "Killing an Arab" is not on it.

Concerning the trilogy, i would say there is nothing compare with the first album... In 17 seconds, i find the demo version of "Three" and Secrets" really excellents. Concerning Faith, it's a real pleasure to listen "Carnage Visors" on a record and the sutdio out-take songs are very good (i agree with you, rdruiz8,  "A normal Story" is very cool ) and show us a new face of the Faith album, a side less dark but i really appreciate them... (special distinction for "Primary"  :D ) and then, Pornography, i was very impatient to listen this edition, and few months later, i really love "Demise", "temptation 1", the demo version of "The hanging garden" but the most of the most is probably "Temptation 2", that's a very good dark-wave song, this song is in perfect cohesion with the album, the bass of Simon is excellent and i wish i could get the same sound of Robert with my guitar...

At the end, ihave to say i'm very glad these editins have been released, i was sometimes frustrated to always listen the first albums on vinyls... I can't wait for the next editions (specially the kiss me album and Disintegration...)  :D

Do someone know about the planning of the next editions?

I've just listened the demo disc of Pornography and i have to say that i don't get at all the song "Airlock: the soundtrack" it's too weird for me and i'm disappointed every time i listen "All mine" cause it's not the complete version... (Grrr!!!)
