Dear members,

Curefans.com has grown tremendously over the last year and we thank all of you for being a part of this growing community.

In order to keep the forums running well and to prevent problems, please follow these simple rules for the forums here. If you have any questions or problems, please feel free to contact us to info@curefans.com

General Rules

# While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks, or purposeless inflammatory posts. Our decision is final in these matters.

# Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) nonsense posts, etc.

# Please avoid posting the same message in different boards.

# Advertising, spamming and trolling is not allowed. This includes using the forum email and Private message system to spam other members.

# Please avoid image signatures

# Advertising other Curefan sites in signatures or messages is prohibited

# While we have an "off topic" board in Curefans.com, we suggest that members focus mainly on Cure related topics, and keep "off topics" subjects to a minimum.

# Check to see if your question has not been answered anywhere else on the site. Use the search feature.

# Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed.

# We reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice.

# While these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate every single one. Consequently, we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.

Music

# Uploading shows in MP3 or others lossy formats is not allowed, as well as advertising other sites where MP3 content is shared (example: Putting a text file with such links inside an uploaded archive file such as a RAR or ZIP)

# It's forbidden to share officially released material.

# The sale of bootlegs (including pressed silver discs) is illegal and not permitted on this forum.

Karma

#This is a feature that is used on many forums. The idea behind it is to reward good, meaningful posts, and "punish" meaningless or ill-spirited posts. It is a way to NOT have this site sink to the depths of the other Cure related forums out there.  It is not a mechanism to hook up your friends; rather, it is the mechanism that is needed to keep this forum up to the standards that we have all come to expect and desire.

For example:

Someone posts a link to a show I've uploaded, click on the [applaud] link under the member's name. If someone makes bad use of this and posts those links all over the internet, click [smite] .

A member posts asking a question in the technical forum regarding seeding torrents.  Another member answers the question and helps the person out.  The original poster, and people who find the information useful, should click [applaud]. If another member types a smart ass remark, click [smite].
