And I find it kinda funny
I find it kinda sad
That the dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had

I thoroughly enjoyed Donnie Darko...have seen it twice...intruiges me...that rabbit!!!!

watched The Bee movie last night.. :smth011  not my choice.... sorry, but that voice affects me like fingernails on a blackboard...plus it really is a little kids movie ( although every now and then there's a touch of adult humour), so serves me right for watching it... OoO yukky.... :smth078

Well, not right this minute, but last night we watched "30 Days of Night"

AAARrGGGhHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

scared me..really, really scared me. About a quarter of the way through, I thought to myself.." I won't see this one out, it's frightening"..then I told myself " It's only a movie, it's only a movie"...and made it...
Not much frightens me when it comes to movies, but this one got to me...( gulp) not a Stephen King kinda scary...a freaking OHMYGODLOOKOUT scary...
i think i liked it....

Last night my husband was zapping and he stopped on an "oldies" channel where they were showing "Saturday Night Fever". First I teased him for watching it, then I ended up getting hooked and watching the whole thing myself! Boy, it really is a bad movie, but it feels like a piece of my life's history and.... I just love watching The King Tony Manero strutt his stuff on the dance floor! Even if it is disco.

Last night, New Years Eve, we stayed home, having a quiet night...way past going out and getting "legless" these days!! On the tv were 2 Beatles features!! One was about the music and what Cirque De Soleil are doing with it. It was fantasic to watch how they gelled the music and dance; they collaborated with Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Olivia Harrison and Yoko Ono, who were all thrilled with the end result; : opened in June 2007 overseas, something I would seriously consider seeing if it came to South Oz...Then, after that, they showed the film "Help"!! Talk about taking me back!! I was lucky that my older siblings were really into the Beatles, and I grew up with their music blasting through the house.. Really brought back so many memories, hearing and seeing these 2 shows..still enjoy the Beatles music, those lads were way before their time!!!

i was also flipping over to watch on ABC, the special on the Momma's & the Pappa's.. Californian Dreamin'... Love their music too !!

So I can say.. that I spent the new years eve with John, Ringo, George... and what was that other beatle called???   ;)
Seventeen seconds

Carnage Visor

Early performance of "Love In A Void" featuring Robert Smith totally rocking the house apart!!! I mean, the guitars are so loud, Metallica and Megadeth would literally shit themselves...

I'm sooo jealous Hero....I have Play Out but haven't been able to watch it for ages due to my complete incompetence in connecting a new VCR to my home theatre.. :(

Yes, I have to agree, Melly!!  :smth045 (sorry to derail here) I also grew up listening to The Beatles and I always come back to them and find something new in their music!!  My Dad was/is a huge Beatles freak and always will be.  I love them but am not a fanatic about them, meaning I don't know every single song, fact, etc.  My Dad actually named my from the song "Michelle"... I know, cheesey right?  But I will always love them!!!!  Even did the Father/Daughter dance at my wedding to that song per request of my Daddio!  Sorry, just had to put my 2 cents in because I will always have fond memories of my childhood.   :smth050
