Yeah I know. But of course it´s just a trick of the light. Sometimes your favorite teams win! But lately I´ve been hugely disappointed over the results in various sports.

CW: Swedish television as it comes. And right now the tragic comedy "King of Comedy" from 1982 with Robert de Niro and Jerry Lewis starts. See Ya!

The Sopranos, season three, episode one.

I finished the second season yesterday, not as good as the first one. Here's hoping the third season makes up for it.

Well, I've gone through the whole season now, first impression: better than the second one, not better than the first one.

An absolutely astonishingly and horrifying russian war movie called Idi i smotri ("Come and See!" in english). It makes me nauseous with its brute reality. I´ve seen it before but still...

this used to be one of my favorite movies years ago, i hadn't seen it for years. i just got the dvd and i'm all thrilled again.

a really original film, based on the wonderful play by tom stoppard (this film version directed by him, too).
the story of shakespeare's hamlet seen through the eyes of the two characters who in shakespeare's play are just a footnote at the end of the play.
while trying to figure out why exactly they've been summoned to the court, they more or less accidentally invent everything from hamburgers to gravity - all of which goes hilariously unnoticed.
gary oldman and tim roth are simply marvelous pair in this!

Searching for the Wrong Eyed Jesus. A brilliant and enlightning film about the people that still are the links between what once was and what now is in American folk music. It´s sometimes a very sad film and sometimes the purity of the partisipants sagas is hard to comprehend, especially the parts from Louisianna and all the churches filled with those different reverends shouting out loud. But it´s yet a film well worth feeling through.
