Sorry to hear, that is bad luck really.

For years, I felt sorry about having missed those gigs "nearby" in 1987 and 1989.
Somehow I had my "happy end" when I finally saw them in 1992 and several times after. Plus another "happy end" was hearing much of "Disintegration" being performed at the show in 2016!
Hope you will get your "happy end" too!  :cool

Welcome @Metallica_Ashllyzz:cool

Your tastes sound like mine when I was a teenager, I listened to (almost) anything from pop to (hard) rock & metal, but my true love was always (post-)punk & new wave.

(Later when I grew up, I got rid of most of the pop & metal...)

Nowadays I can listen to anything from classical to jazz, from folk & country to blues-rock, from singer-songwriters like Leonard Cohen to instrumental (post-)rock bands like Mogwai. Depends on my mood etc.  :cool

I can't really choose over pictures of you, love song, and fascination street but if I really had to choose it would be pictures of you! I don't think I could ever get bored of pictures of you, I remember when I first listened to pictures of you and I was absolutely astonished and stuck in amazement.🤩

A film from the past "caught up" with me - The Rosary Murders from 1987. I watched the original English version online yesterday and the day before. So far I only knew the German version from TV, which is also good, if not better. The only annoying thing is the many commercial breaks. That's why I only watched the first 40 minutes and then the rest. Still absolutely worth seeing.  :angel

Quote from: WikipediaIn 1978, Kienzle published the first, and best known of the Father Robert Koesler mystery novels The Rosary Murders which was made into a movie in 1987, starring Donald Sutherland as Father Koesler. The screenplay was co-written by Kienzle with Elmore Leonard and Fred Walton, who also directed the film. The Rosary Murders, like most of Kienzle's mysteries, is set in Detroit, Michigan.
