Erm, yes, why not? It all depends, as David says
QuoteHope we will all be around by then

How many years away is it? I might be broke or even dead by then...  :1f62e:

But if anyone sends me an air ticket, I'll be there for sure. :beaming-face

Hahaha dead or broken  :rofl I'll drag your body or take your ashes with me then  ;) but I'd prefer to have you breathing, of course.

A sentence that is usually pronounced at church weddings: "whoever is against the marriage should speak now or keep silent forever" or something like that. A bizarre situation has occurred, as only life can write in the immediate aftermath of the pandemic. Half a year ago I had the intention of ending one-sided acquaintances or those that have a manipulative character. I partially succeeded. To cut a long story short: as a 'non-invitee', do I have the option of counteracting a marriage? It's not about destroying a supposed happiness. Does the person mean so much to me, 'moving all levers'? For now I would say yes...

Well, I would say "only if you have an objection which is really important to all involved (including the marriage registrar and/or priest)!" (I mean e.g. something like "one person is already legally married to someone else"... Otherwise it might be an embarrassing moment for most people present.)

Thank you. What I can say is that movement has come into something that has been at a standstill for a long time. More on that soon, but I can't promise anything.

I'm in the process of sorting myself out. I had surgery yesterday... routine. But the wound was not sewn up. That amazed me. I was allowed to leave the hospital around six o'clock. I've been taking anticoagulants for 12 years. This morning the check... also routine. Everything seemed fine. Back home again, but around ten o'clock I had to be admitted as an emergency. It had started bleeding. I had to be patient for over two hours. The bleeding would not stop. Only then was the wound sewn up. I left the hospital devastated. I can only move to a limited extent. Luckily my neighbor is willing to do some shopping for me. Tomorrow I have to go to the surgeon... this May I have to 'check it off'.

Quote from: thetarotempressOne person took too long and one person left.

Everything should be said with this. The pandemic played a part. We can't pick up where we left off, especially since I know and appreciate several people who are like him/her. It would be really fantastic if everyone could get to know each other...

I would like to answer your question with this quote. It is from the second chapter of Les amants de Pise.

Quote- I don't love my wife.
- However, you thought you loved her by marrying her. You would do me wrong again.
He protested with an exclamation.
- Oh no! Dear sir, you have no pity on me; What could be worse for a woman you hate than to love a married man who can give you nothing, neither a home nor a future nor consideration.

Since the reading for Libra on June 8th, it is extremely unlikely that a third person could be meant here. By the way, I hope that your content will not be subject to an age restriction in the future. Children don't understand. That should be clear to everyone... thanks.  :)

@Chelsea LT

That would mean that the person will make me an offer that I can't refuse. This very person claims to have been engaged for six months. I'm Gemini and not Pisces. When everything is painted pink or appears that way, you can lose sight of reality. Dangerous...

Quote from: venusianscorpI dunno who needs to see this, But:

"Don't hold onto the dream
When Reality is right in front of you"

Nice that you speak up. I chose this comparison because Pisces can still see reality when everything is pink... a quote from Sunny.  :)

In the second half of life, one should actually be emotionally mature enough to admit to oneself and others that mental health and professional success are not guarantees for a classic relationship. So we have this awkward "I can offer you a lot more than you offer me, so I won't have coffee with you" situation. On the other hand, in the event of a separation, fleeting holiday acquaintances are tolerated and even sought. I call that double standard...🤢

On my mind is meeting some old mates from school for dinner later this evening. (After school, I'd lost touch with most of them for many years, some I didn't even see for 20 years or more. Then we had a class reunion about ten years ago and more were planned, some of them were indeed happening, but due to dwindling interest, some of us decided to meet in a small "circle" from time to time, which we did, mostly we were like 6 people. Then for a while a few more came along and it got almost "too big", but now we're back to the original six.)  :happy

Except for one (2018) I attended all class reunions. It's always the same people who organize it and unfortunately always the same people who are conspicuous by their absence. I have encouraged annual meetings. That might already be happening... even in a small circle, but I don't think the majority is interested in it. I haven't seen two former, very good students for over thirty years. However, one of them was in a constant dispute with our class teacher, so I could imagine that he was deliberately not invited. 😟
