To the Sky

if they played that at a show I went to I would be happy

and a nice 16-17 minute version of a forest like the Wish tour would be good.

Bloodflower has too much spare time

should spend more time listening to the cure rather than fascinating over lineups.

Bloodflower has very little time, actually; that thing was written in three sittings, between work and the like. This is how I chose to spend my little free time. Is that all right? I enjoyed doing it; fantasy too often outstrips reality. I do take a bit of objection to the notion that I should spend more time listening to The Cure. Have you any idea how often I listen to them or for how many hours per day? It's said reality destroys dreams, so enjoy them as fully as you are able before their destruction.

Do you never dream?

Wow there are some excellent choices on the above set lists! If ever I had the honour to interview the Band, I would ask how on earth they choose their set lists!! How can you pack so much product into a 3 hour gig??? 3 hours is 'never enough'... poor bastards standing up there for 3 hours! It's a long stint, thank goodness they're so excellent at their jobs and so willing to please the fans!!! What a Band! :rocker I have to mention that I would really love to hear 'exploding boy' and 'harold and joe' at the forth coming Melb. gig on the 12th August! I also note with joy that alot of people like 'icing sugar' too! In my memeory banks somewhere I have the knowlegde that the band may consider doing another DVD type gig and play Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me in it's entirety... oh my f*cking god - could you believe that? How brilliant!!! I would also love to hear The Head On The Door in full!! (dribbles all over herself!)

I've heard whispers of performing an album in-full, but nothing so specific as Kiss Me. Just kind of general rumblings, mostly things of little repute. I hope they do.

And I hope they decide to play another Trilogy set of concerts, but with different albums. The Head on the Door / Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me / Wish would be fantastic, but this bit is just wishful thinking.... Though, to be truthful, I'd rather see them play Seventeen Seconds / Faith / Pornography.....

Looking at some of these setlists, it's nice to imagine that some of these would be real.

But hey, what about this?  Here's a nightmare setlist.

In Between Days
Just Like Heaven
The Walk
Let's Go To Bed
The End Of The World
alt.end
From The Edge Of The Deep Green Sea

Encore:

Why Can't I Be You?
Boys Don't Cry

Pretty cool, huh?

Not that I really dislike any of these songs, but I'm sure some of you will see my point...
