Wow, this is a great show! Perry has a keyboard oops in the beginning of the song (at least I think it's him). Isn't this about the time he first joined the band? Killing an Arab might be the best recorded version I've heard.

There is a version from Glastonbury as well that I have.
I wasn't sure it would sound so good live but it really does sound great. :)

Doubt has never been played live.  Any other album songs never played live?

Needs to get played live :!:
And if Robert really does hate it that much, let Simon sing it. ha. That would be very interesting.    :-D

There are alot of shows during the late 70's at The Cure Concert Guide that say "setlist unknown".  How do we know Doubt wasn't played at one of those gigs?  It could have been played a few times early in their career, then dropped from the setlist.

Well, but when was 'Doubt' actually composed? If it was more or less around the time of the 'Faith' album, where it's included, it would have been impossible to play it at some late 70's show...

I don't think his voice is all that bad actually. Poor Simon, he tries!

Is Simon a better singer than Michael Dempsey ("Foxy Lady")? Or about the same?  :-D

You've never heard Simon sing? There's one song I really like that Simon sings from Fools Dance called Happy Families.
I wouldn't say either one is better cause they have very different voices. I'm more interested in their bass playing... different styles there as well. :)

Interesting topic. The list is practically the same since this topic was first published (seven years ago). The list back then was:

Quote from: revolt on July 18, 2008, 16:23:13
01 - A forest : 762 times
02 - Inbetween days : 655 times
03 - Boys don't cry : 646 times
04 - Just like heaven : 572 times
05 - 10.15 Saturday night : 532 times
06 - The walk : 490 times
07 - Play for today : 489 times
08 - Killing an Arab : 489 times
09 - Fascination Street : 464 times
10 - Let's go to bed : 464 times
The list as of today, which includes "One Hundred Years" instead of "Fascination Street" (now in the position 11th) is this:

01  A forest : 818 times  =
02  Boys don't cry : 711 times  +1 position
03  Inbetween days : 710 times -1 position
04  Just like heaven : 627 times =
05  10.15 Saturday night : 565 times =
06  The walk : 549 times  =
07  Play for today : 541 times =
08  Killing an Arab : 522 times =
09  Let's go to bed : 511 times +1 position
10  One hundred years : 496 times  new

And the most played songs last year were very pop, with the exception of "One Hundred Years". "A Forest" which is the most played song in Cure's history does not even appear in the top 10:

01 - Close to me : 11 times
02 - Just like heaven : 10 times
03 - Bananafishbones : 9 times
04 - The lovecats : 9 times
05 - Pictures of you : 9 times
06 - Wrong number : 9 times
07 - From the edge of the deep green sea : 9 times
08 - Lullaby : 9 times
09 - Why can't I be you? : 9 times
10 - One hundred years : 9 times

I personally hope #6 and #7 from the list above will be removed from upcoming shows
