I did it :-D
Set the overburn limit out at 95mins & burnt the Cult flacs (converted) from Budapest a couple of weeks back onto a single disc.
No signs of any flaws in the copy. Sounds great.
Thanks for the advice all.

Cheers.

90 minute CD-Rs?? where the hell have I been? Living under a rock? More like a whole pile of rocks I'd say!!!!

Hiya Steve, long time!

Steve

G'day Javi.
What's the story?
90min CDRs indeed.
I (somewhat belatedly) discovered that many of my 2 disc gigs would fit on ONE 90min CDR & so I am going to check in future before burning the things.
Cheers.

Things are good. Got the week off work, so putting up shelves & blinds & other little jobs around the flat :?
On the CD front, you need to make sure your burner can "overburn".
Find the config settings & set the overburn limit at 95mins & when you burn the disc, don't burn at high speed (I don't anyway) or you may get errors.
If you're not sure, then check the link that R&R posted &/or check the website of your writer's manufacturer.
The discs are a lttle more expensive, but when you have an 88min gig, to put it onto 2 discs is a little silly IMHO.
You might also find, that if you can mess about with the overburn config, you can get more than 80mins on a standard disc too.
Good luck mate.

Geeezz.. that sounds like a lot of work....

i agree with the "just over 80 minute show" thing.. it's a pain in the neck...
thanks for the advice!!

Steve

It's not that much hassle tbh.
Took me a couple of minutes to find the settings menu & bob's your uncle, it was easy.
Next up for me is to see about burning 8.5gb dvds :-D
