The ringing in my ears tells me that I'm back on my favourite "drug": Live music!  :o

I felt a real "high" (goosebumps and tears in my eyes) when I heard those loud guitars interact.

Addressed to someone outside the forum.

Can I tell you: to keep the many Crosswatchers "happy". Statistically, most people are born in September. Crosswatching should not be technically possible at all.  :frowning:

The situation from a year ago where it looked like I would have to prevent a marriage. "Stop" was my first thought. Something has slipped. But that was probably also necessary in order to form the various pieces of the puzzle into a coherent picture. I didn't really have to do much for that. Now I'm standing in front of it, and if that person were with me now, we'd probably be grinning at each other. Ah! 🦄

The double sonic boom yesterday at 12:55 p.m. :o  I looked at the clock involuntarily. But Air Defender 2023 isn't until June?! Today's headline: it wasn't an exercise after all. A passenger aircraft in the Münster area could not be reached by radio. The Quick-Reaction-Alert Rotte rose from Rostock. Well done...

The person who tried to access my email account, while I was away. Now that might've been a genuine mistake (typo for example), but the fact that I announced me being away for a gig makes me think. Thus, should I find out it's an ex-member from here or something like that, I will take the necessary steps. Needless to say, I won't announce much any more and maybe "hide" my online status.  :pouting-face

So it wasn't me. Would never have thought of it either.  :1f636:  I received two dubious text messages last week, according to which a shipment for me is at customs. In fact, I'm still waiting for a book. I almost fell for it. The scammers are getting smarter.  :1f633:

Most certainly not. Do you even have my email addy?
Of course I'm aware that the posts in this forum can be read by unregistered readers too, thus it could be anyone who knows my email.
It's not like my username is a good "disguise". ;)

Of course I'm aware that someone might have passed on my email addy to someone else. (Or like I said, it could be a genuine mistake, e.g. if someone has a similar address as mine or uses the "number" attached to the account and makes a typo.)
However, it was a bit suspicious that it happened exactly over the period of time when I was "off" for hours, which I had "kind of" announced here.

I also think it's possible, because Mercury is still retrograde until May 15th. There can be problems with "communication" - I've experienced this myself. Otherwise I would be suspicious too.  :?

Bees are on my mind right now...

QuoteMillions of bees across Europe are dying – but in weeks, the EU could vote on a bill that could protect their habitat. Conservative politicians and the pesticide industry have joined forces to try and kill the bill – so we need to be louder! I found out by accident that a species of wild bee is nesting in my bedroom window. Individual bees fly in and out through small vents. It may even be the wild bee of the year (see Wikipedia). A honey bee got lost in my anorak this morning. I was just cycling. About ten minutes later, when I was in my apartment, the distraught animal flew out. I didn't notice anything at first, except that I must have "collisioned" with her while driving, i.e. up on the neck. She didn't sting, but I've already been stung by a wasp this year. Luckily I'm not allergic to bites.  :o  :heart-eyes

I had a huge conversation about bees today, bumble bees. I have a little tree bumblebee nest outside my window and see them flitting in and out all day long. It's hard to think that without bees, the world would be virtually colourless. Magical little creature. Save the 🐝 s

Hello btw my dearest. I hope you are well xx

Only a few days left until Air Defender 2023. Since there was a fatal incident near Lake Müritz four years ago and disturbing news from the RAF only recently reached us, I would like to advise all participants to be particularly careful and prudent. Problems will arise one way or another, and NATO Air Forces are not a 'side theater'. The alliance must be strengthened while another country is already at war.  :-D  :cool

Thanks, I'm fine, how are you?
Just got back from a mini-holiday (driving my mum into deepest Bavaria to visit a relative, staying one night, then driving back via a lake)...  :cool

The Damned even recorded a song about saving the bees, called "Keep 'em alive" (on their "Rockfield Files" EP 2020)!

I'm good thank you! Oooohhh that sounds glorious, deepest Bavaria. Hope you took some pictures.

Yes, seems bees are on everyone's mind. I enjoyed your update about the Damned which was lovely. Glad they were on form for you  :×
