Hi there, anybody else going to an upcoming NIN/Jane's Addiction show? I will be at the May 20th show in Irvine and again on the 22nd in Mountain View. Both bands are phenomenal live!  :smth023

i just love the NIN's recent policy for taping, the tapers getting organized and putting their efforts together for everyone.
that's the way it should be in 2009 - kudos to trent  :smth023

and damn now i wish i lived in the US! i really would have liked to see this  :smth027 (=NINJA) tour...
(hey i guess i should have just stayed in vegas for about a month, they will play there on may 18th if my memory serves, the very the same pearl theater as the cure did).

RED it is. I've changed the motif/theme of my gmail to Ninja to celebrate... Well I didn't do it for that reason but hey, that's a good lie...
they're soooo cute...

still in san fran, went to the mountain view show last friday, and it was pretty good. not the best i've seen them, but loved the setlist! sorta odd for NIN to be opening for jane's addiction. the crowd was more in to talking and getting up from their seats every five seconds, which was a major distraction, but oh well. some of the highlights were:

the becoming!
the way out is through!
the fragile!
the day the world went away!
metal! (gary numan cover)
march of the pigs!
home!
burn!

lol, i would have liked to have seen that. also, shoreline is an outdoor venue and it was so cold that not even a few beers could warm me up. :(
