Hello !

I'm Erceee, I live near Toulouse in the south of France.
I first discovered The Cure when I was 9, thanks to my father who made me listen to Faith (specially the transition between The Holy hour and Primary).
I really became a fan with The head on the door (In between days  :smth055 ), and I went to my first concert of The Cure in 1986 in Beziers (a few days before their show in Orange). I was 14 :)
Then I went to their concerts in Toulouse in 1987, Arles in 1989 and Lille in 2000.
I'm fond of the trilogy Seventeen seconds, Faith and Pornography, and my favourite song is The drowning man.
I'm going to see The Cure again on November 18th in Montpellier, 30 years after my first concert ^^

Well, that's all I think :)

You were lucky!

1986 is in my opinion one of The Cure's best years when it comes to shows. You can notice that when you watch "In Orange". The energy of the band, the sound of the guitars, the setlist, Robert's voice... And also, several songs that have never been played like that anymore (e.g. Push, A night like this have their best versions in 1986)

As Robert said at the time, they were only doing 23 concerts in the entire year, so each one was quite special...  :)
