Before "The end of the world" MTV passed a short tribute about the band, saying how influencial it was in the music history. After performing "The end of the world", Robert's got a prize from the hands of chilean's Beto Cuevas from the band La Ley. The prize is usually a tongue (red tongue, of course), but they gave him a black one :)

In MTV Latino the prize is a tongue, for every artist. But it's a first time I see someone getting a black tongue :)

Yes...!..I do have a VHS, but it's in my parents (40kms away). But I'm sure the show will be repeated, so then I'll record it. I had a very busy day yesterday!

The show will be repeated tomorrow october 20th at 15.00 peruvian time and then again at 18.00 (that's +2 in Argentina and +7 in Europe and +17 in Australia I guess). I'll try to tape the whole show.

Yes, thanx for all the links, it was great to see The Cure again..seems so long ago when they were here in Australia! And thankyou for the reply re my tongue question... may I ask, what is the relevance though? I'm not trying to be a twat here, I am interested as to why a statue of a tongue is given? Is it the obvious as in; the tongue represents the music and lyrics from that performer/s which in turn surpasses all languages, as it is something everyone can relate to, no matter what the language barrier may be? I would love to know what the tongue represents, if anyone can enlighten me? Thanku.. :smth016
