Last monday we saw the best concert ever here in Peru and personally, the best since I saw The Cure in Hamburg 2002. If Roger Waters goes close to your city you can't miss it. The show is absolutely outstanding.

Last night's concert was incredible!
He did tend to bang on about Bush & Blair a lot, but they do deserve it & a lot of songs, he managed to make the message relevant to today's events in the mid east (especially the Final Cut stuff).
He played only one "non Floyd" song, that was actually a direct snipe at B&B, but the rest of the gig was all Floyd numbers.
Sure, his guitarists are not Dave Gilmour, but they are still pretty awesome (although Gilmour can cope with comfortably numb on his own & they needed 2 people).
The backing singers, were just perfect though & Great Gig In the Sky just sent shivers down my spine . Brilliant!!!
I have some camera phone footage but the sound is unlistenable (& I can't upload to youtube anyway).
I was totally blown away by the spinning prism at the end, with the laser spectrum scanning over the whole audience. 8)
This gig was not all about lasers & the typical "modern day floyd show" special effects (although there were plenty of pyrotechnics).
It was Waters showing everyone that he is still a force to be reckoned with & that folks should not forget he had a large part in the creation of the Pink Floyd legend (albeit a darker side).
I want to see it again. :-D
Cheers
