What, in your opinion, was the best concert of the Prayer Tour?
Roma 4-6-1989, especially for the excellent version of Faith related to Tian An Men square facts.
May 13 St. Goarshausen...best one
I wasn´t there anywhere, but the show in Lausanne sounds special, i´m desperately looking
for lossless copy of it, fantastic faith. anyone?

Any better second encore ever played by the band , I guess not
yes that one is awesome, hard to surpass it, then or now...
my other favorites: maybe an obvious choice but the 2nd & 3rd nights in wembley (also some nice combinations of encores there, like 'shake dog shake, siamese twins, one hundred years' as E2 on 24th...)
from among the more "ordinary" prayer tour shows, i also like the 2nd night of paris and frankfurt quite a lot....
(sorry, i suppose i picked more than one... ;))
are there any soundboards at all from this tour?
e)9-23-89 Great Woods, MA is a really really good show and whoever taped it is a genius. and its one day away from by birthday and one state away from my town...
And the setlist cant be beat:
plainsong
pictures of you

kyoto song
a night like this
just like heaven
catch
last dance
fascination street
lovesong
cold
the walk
a forest
inbetween days
the same deep water as you
prayers for rain
disintegration
Encore 1:
lullaby
close to me
let's go to bed
why can't i be you
Encore 2:
homesick
untitled
faith
Encore 3:
the figurehead
one hundred years
m
boys don't cry
10.15 saturday night
killing an arab
forever
Barcelona '89 is a really good one, but the recordings I've heard don't do it justice.

yes it does, if that's what matters. ;)
and faith even has lyrics from 2 late:
so i'll wait for you where i always wait...

Brussel 10 05 1989, my first cure show, not a soldout concert so i stay during 3 hours just in front of Robert and Simon...Amazing...
sicuramente roma e l'ultima data alla wembley arena sono i migliori concerti.
Wembley (last night)
I missed all the trains home, it went on so long!
No matter, it was worth the long walk back across London to Victoria station. :-D
