Beautiful the demo version of Push. Pure instrumental with ethereal guitarrs, just perfect (altought very short, just about 2 minutes). The Exploding Boy demo is also very cool. Who says in the song "Now wash your hands?"...Robert?

What do you guys think about this deluxe edition?

What songs did you like the most?

Cheers

David.

The 07.08.1985 'John Peel Session' version of The exploding boys is almost the same version of The Head On The Door (Deluxe Edition) !!!

I like Inwood and Innsbruck the most. Lime Time is awful but funny.  :-D

I just have the single disc reissue, and wow....I have re-fallen in love with every single song on it. It sounds soooo good. Push, Sinking and The Blood are three of the best songs of all time.

splitmilk34

This reissue is fantastic... I've loved all of them so far, though.  I'm a huge fan of "The Exploding Boy" so the demo was key for me.

i have it on vinyl, it sounds way better than the mp3s i have of close to me etc. the only resissue im tempted by is faith because it has charlotte sometimes (only have it on concert) and i might get bloodflowers on cd (hard to find at a good price on lp. also, maybe pornography...what does the LGTB demo on 2nd disc sound like?

It sounds nothing like what became LGTB.

KingOfSomeIsland

Anyone know when the last 4 reissues are coming out?

Dillinger

2008.

i hesrd temptation two on wow, totally different. i love it just as much as the cheesy one though. why is it considered early LGTB though? are there similiar lyrics?

i might get the head reissue, what the version of a baby screams (my favourite head track) like on the 2nd disc?

"might"? "maybe"...? hey come on!!!
:rocker

(but true about bloodflowers double vinyl, nice clean copies sometimes go up to pretty high prices)

i gave in and got bloodflowers on cd, someone i vaguely know from canada sent me their copy in as new cond. because they dont like it, unbelievably. i know i still need faith, wish and the cure but i always come up short at the last minute  i might just buy wish cheap on cd though and wait for the reissue because apparently the b-sides are some of the best
