But I would assume all Geffen's (or whatever label runs the website) artist sites are on the same server, and it would be unusual for that to be down for at least 12 hours now.

My guess is: he's talking "fluctuations" in the music business.

And "a lot of flux" does not sound to me as if he's talking about one member of the band.
