Yep.  We don't even do either of those, or any social media.  We're on a couple of forums each.  And on our computers we use mostly shareware like Xubuntu and Open Office, etc etc.  It's good to get the word around for alternatives that don't railroad you, so that people can dodge this kind of corporate BS, and support creative communities.

Unfortunately I don't own a mobile device to install "apps" on. How can I make sure that my data is being stolen? Any advice is welcome.  :winking_tongue

(I'm on FB but only with the PC. Do you think that's enough?) :D
