I would take the Cure any day. Actually my passion for the band is something that I tell whomever I may be getting serious about. If they can't hack it; they can so themselves out of my life.

To me personally.. there is definate contrast, btw The Cure and U2.. I fell asleep at both U2 concerts here.... went with sisters who loved the band..

but The Cure woke my almost-dead soul....

My Cure passion is quite well-tolerated in my home...
I can't listen to anything I want all the time (I'm not going to expose my 9yr old son to Pornography or Faith, don't think he would handle that well), but when he's not around my husband gives me free rein...
He's not into The Cure like I am, but he says "Even though it's not my favorite kind of music at all, I make an exception for The Cure, because Robert Smith is obviously a genius".

Hihi,

I may not complain. My husband has no problem with my Cure passion.
He's happy with a wife who is happy with a cd and a curegig, I don't need more.

My son is putting up the volume when he hears a cure song on television

My family gives me all they can find about the cure.

And if they can't stand anymore I put a wireless headphone on

Well, my ex-girlfriend become a Cure fan after we broke up. She was listening to them in a moment of sadness. But when I came back to her & we come together again, she started to hate them in spite of neatly expressing of her past fellings in Robert's words. But its always the same... now I'M suffering accompanying with Cure music and words...
