I was wondering if anyone was attending the Chamber music concert in Toronto on the 18th with Roger O'Donnell?  :lol:He is playing the cello and might be playing some songs from his latest album. I think it would be awsome to see it, since I have never been to a Cure concert this is the closest thing to the Cure I have. :smth020

Just posted a link to this thread in our facebook site.

Another thing you can do is look in http://last.fm, there's the a list of events with people attending, but I think Roger's show is not listed yet.

Finally, if you have some time in may try to go to this festival

Don't know how far is Montreal from Toronto, thought!

Just got back from the concert. :-D It was amazing! He played so beautifully. He played four songs from this new album Two/three. A Field of Lavender,The Crow Flies,Lie For Me, and Tell Me a Story. Erin Lang sung two songs and Steve NcNie and Paul van Dongen played the cello. At the intermission my mom and I went downstairs for refreshments...(free wine for momma) and saw him. I was so nervous I was shaking, so my mom went up and asked for his autograph and picture. He signed my programme and took a picture with me. When he signed my programme, I told him my name and he recognized it from facebook, since I recently posted something on his page about how excited I was for the upcoming concert. I was so shocked! He remembered my profile pic being the "Robert Smith one"! He was so nice! He said he resently talked to Robert and said that he doesnt know for sure what the Cure will bring in the future but they are doing something... I took some pictures and my mom took a video of a few of his songs. It was a great night! :smth020

Thanks a lot for sharing your review :smth023

This is interesting what Roger said about Robert. I thought they weren't in touch after he was fired by him some years ago. Interesting to know "The Cure are doing something". Wonder what this "something" is

and i think that recently he's gotten on better terms with robert.  the disintegration memories were very positive, and afterwards i remember craig saying something like they were on better terms.
