Thanks for the clips everyone! But surely we're far from done with this topic yet?  ;)

I don't believe these have been posted:

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=mu_TgQY9D3M&feature=PlayList&p=7444E22EFA090DB4&index=73
(Quirky little interview on a merry-go-round of sorts in a playground. I believe Robert makes up most of the answers... As one user points out, you gotta love how he screeches "SHUT UP!" to the kids (nothing nasty) and THEN they show who he is.  :-D By the way, I shall from now on refer to the In-Between Days video as In-Between Socks. Spot on.)

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=z8mrUnA8-ts
(Interview on Jools Holland. "I was just testing the water". "We plugged in". "He doesn't know yet, but we know where he lives..." And watch out for the bizarre moment at 3:21, hehe.)

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=0KIpPGYB4zQ
(Maybe not all-together fun, but I love it when he says "I'd jump in the river, rather than sing...")

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=JUrJbqNnUog&feature=related
(Simon's had a few too many, I think. Lol has had a long day. Robert acts babysitter and suggests he "nestles down", which must be the cutest thing I've ever heard...)

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=fb7ozGl33iA
(Here's that Siouxsie And The Banshees vid with Robert in a wig at 04:09, by the way. Robert in jammies is also a treat (even if he's not much of an actor), especially at 3:12...)

Have fun now!

thanks, it is funny  :smth023

Thanks Poe!!  Great clips!!  And yes, from now on the In-Between Days video shall be known as In-Between Socks!!   ;)

And thanks for your clip robiola!  I had to watch the whole of Staring at the Sea after seeing that...which ended with me having that silly little tune and a stupid smile on my face for the best part of a day.... :D

Poe

Thanks for the comments! Told you you'd have fun. :P

By the way, didn't someone post a clip earlier of Robert playing a kazoo in Antwerpen? Well, here's the same magical moment up close (great quality to the vid). It looks like Robert is saying "a what!?" when he sees what it is. :smth081

robiola

@sues777 glad you enjoyed -- I love the inbetween bits of Staring at the Sea :D

@poe (welcome!) "We plugged in." I laughed so much I almost cried. He really cracks me up.

Poe

I feel very welcomed. ;D

Yes, hihi. What makes it even funnier is the way he squirms right after he says it, like he's so embarrassed about having made a joke...cutsie pie. May he never lose his quirky sense of humor.

Stumbled over some new ones I'd added to my youtube account a while ago. If you don't mind...:

(I've heard they decided to take the piss out of this apparently crappy French show, and how! French Cure fans loved it. Giggle-inducing curtsy at the end)

(Makes me smile to see them having a nice time. Simon's fun. "Big saucer eyes", and "Barry Manilow - Copacabana", hehe.)

("You mean the four of us and Lol?", and then they giggle like kids...Me like.)

Carnage Visor

Those are very nice, Poe!!!  :smth023

It's so cute to hear them act all giddy and childlike...Simon's really funny!

Poe

Thanks Carnage Visor, 'twas a pleasure posting them.  8)

I've found some funny pics (posted them on another forum, if you recognize them):

This one is supposed to be of Robert and his older brother, Richard. The Blues Brothers.  8)

(The Shining) It's mad Bob!

"This is ma chair! Ma chair! Ain't big enough for both of us!"

Oh, and another thing...

ONE HUNDREDTH POST!

Sorry for the huge post, just had to do that... Finally upgraded to a true Curefan.

Hey Cure Freak - I'm afarid I'm a little behind the times with this one.  I hadn't actually heard it until I discovered it on YouTube...but I'm now completely smitten with it!!  :D

Ching Chang Chong is a demo version of Spilt Milk, unreleased track from the Bloodflowers era. The lyrics and the arrangement have been changed, but I quite prefer this simpler, "cleaner" arrangement over the final one in Spilt Milk, which sounds a bit...muddled, to my ears. Still great though:

Thanks poe!  I actually knew the background of the 2 tracks, I just hadn't heard them.  Although I love them both, I haven't been able to stop listening to Ching Chang Chong...  I agree with you -  I'm drawn to the simpler, cleaner arrangement.  To me, there's a "naivety"(?) about it...Love it!!
