Morning All!

Not a great lover of the Brit Awards, obvious highlights was the Cure at the Great British Music Weekend and the awards they received a long time ago.

This year in my opinion, not being biased, but it would be fitting that they were awarded the Life Time Achievement Award, 40 years in the industry, a band that has contributed huge amounts to music, inspired dozens of bands, this would be a well deserved reward!

21.07.89 - Birmingham NEC
19.01.91 - Great British Music Weekend, Wembley Arena
01.05.92 - St. Austell Coliseum
25.06.95 - Glastonbury
16.12.96 - Birmingham NEC

...still too few times and far too long since the last gig!

Yes, I remember it well, probably because it was (partly) on "The Cure Play Out" video (released in late '91 or early '92 I think)!

Are there any signs this might happen, are the "nominees" known to the public? (Sorry, I don't know much about the procedure at the Brit Awards.)

Nothing about lifetime awards but these are usually dropped into the awards at the end of the show but I hold our little hope, prove me wrong Brits!

I was lucky to see the Cure at Wembley at the Great British Music Weekend, was a great gig and managed to be at the front!
