Nice post.

This was one of the first decent JD bootlegs I ever owned, got it on tape some time in late 1980/early 1981 IIRC. It is also one of the best recordings going around of one of the finest live acts ever (IMHO).

The version as posted is missing 5 tracks. The opening two tracks, "Passover" (which cuts in on all known versions) and Wilderness, Shadowplay [which should be after "24" Hours"] and the encores "Atmosphere" and "Interzone".

Peter Hook's attempts to play LWTUA on this have to be heard to be believed!!

Thanks for sharing

Purple Orchid

Gosh! Didn't catch this one on time, the links are dead!!!

I have a few songs on the Les Bains Douches CD and it's a great sounding show, the should have included this one on the remasters, instead of those audience ones (am I wrong???)
...when suddenly, behind a tree, I appear
strange mixture of the one-before-the-last wanderer
and first stowaway on the trip to Venus.
Half melon on the head and the stripes of the shirt painted on the skin,
but only you see me...

this  (Bains Douches) has already been released officially in 2001 on NMC Music
http://www.discogs.com/release/479766

and Amsterdam has seen the light of the day as well on another edition of Paris...

Purple Orchid

Well, yes, it has been "officially" released complete on a Very limited Very expensive Out of Print very hard to find etc. etc. edition.
And I really don't think this is 100% official...
