By the way these mics are really perfect to put in the border of the glasses, kind of what Caley suggested before

That's what I used to do with my Squids. 

@lostflower4, I'd have to say that I made one recording with a decent amount of low end using GSAL omnis and the fixed roll-off (even though there is a roll-off switch) battery box.  Again, it was a boomy environment.  So, situation dictates there.  Glad I upgraded, though  :smth020

It's really nice and small, relatively cheap, and the 9 volt battery lasts a really long time.
