Removing Clipping from Audio
« on: September 04, 2008, 08:46:14 »
Hi,
I've just received a recording of a concert and the audio has some slight clipping, mainly on the drum sound. It's not overly bad, I'm just wondering if it's possible to improve slightly, I'm guessing not but thought I'd ask? Here's a pic http://i33.tinypic.com/5z0hkz.jpg

I can upload a small audio sample if any audio editing masters out there think they can help :D

Cheers

If it's not too bad, I have a great solution.

Sony Sound Forge.  There's a plugin specifically for restoring clipped peaks.

I'd be happy to do it for you if you'd like.  :)
