Over the years, I've had many CDs stolen from me, and others lost as a result of friends borrowing them, etc. However, many of the jewel cases remain. I can never bring myself to throw these away, but I'd like to see them get a good home. So I've complied a list of all the extra jewel cases I have, in hopes that somebody might want/need them.

Here's the list in text format, but it's much better to view in Excel. You can download that version here:

Well, I know possession is 9/10 of the law and that no one will believe me anyway... But some of these are albums that I did not  purchased myself. I had a friend who was huge into the Spice Girls at one time, and ended up with that CD somehow.

As for Jimmie's Chicken Shack, I never had a chance to listen to this one. I got it from a local radio DJ, and I think my friend borrowed it and ended up losing the CD...

 dude i think you should really stop letting your friends borrow your cds.

(perhaps i should help you with some of that VH stuff.)

A jewel case is simply the (usually clear) plastic case that most official CD comes in.  :?:

I guess you already looked here, but here's a picture of one:

I guess it is kind of a fancy name for a piece of plastic. I never really thought about that much until now.

Well, I'd say at least half of those were genuinely stolen. I had two separate incidents at a Wal-Mart parking lot while I was inside the store...

Both times I had my CDs in one of those portable carrying cases, so the jewel cases were at home. Apparently I left my car unlocked — and boom, the CDs (and a lot of front inserts) were gone.

But I'm a lot wiser now.  ;)

This list obviously doesn't include the titles where everything was stolen, jewel cases and all. I don't remember what half that stuff was...

Nor does this include the time that a maid at a hotel apparently jacked another full case of mix CD-Rs that I had burned myself.
