My only real regret is that I may have done better with an extra song or two from the new album, and I also only used 34 songs, but I knew that with the time that I was working with, I'd have needed to add something like Catch, which was in my rough draft, but I took it out.  It just didn't seem to fit for some reason.

But.....if I were going to be at the show, I'd rather see your setlist than mine.

Complicated?  Maybe.  But hey, the staff is going to be tallying up the scores, not you.  ;)

Mmmm...complicated and difficult I think, especially about the order!!!!

Anyway the prizes are very interesting, so me and disi are going to try! ;)

24 Plainsong - 25 Disintegration

 :smth023

I like your picks here and thought about doing the same, or having If Only Tonight and The Kiss as an encore.  In the end I went with the two KMKMKM songs in the main set.  Not sure I made the right call, but we'll see.

Yeah, I tought they will start with Underneath The Stars and end whit It's Over, but what whit Plainsong and Disintegration - I guess they play it as well or they don't start whit UTS and than ... Hell this is difficult; I'm glad I have allready send my list as fast as i could, so I couldn't have doubt by seeing others setlists  :-D and yes we will see  :D

say no more!  (fingers crossed...? ;-P)
even 'freakshow' might be bearable if one got to hear 'six different ways first'.

i've edited that for you.

talking about great/dream set lists, if a slightly off-topic comment is allowed:

yesterday i went to this concert where a finnish bad played the cure set (it's not a tribute band, they play the songs in their own style - which i really liked by the way).
anyway, their set list was:

the kiss
one hundred years
killing an arab
a night like this
in your house
the figurehead
the blood
primary
give me it
a forest
---
cold

and i just couldn't help thinking "oh, i only the cure did something like this..." (although well, they could play a little longer for sure, i wouldn't mind that. ;))
anyway it was surely excellent to hear 'give me it' live. i didn't mind 'in your house' either.
really enjoyed that concert.  :D

I know what you mean.  I saw a Cure tribute band a few months back that opened up with:

Plainsong
Pictures of You
Closedown
Lovesong
Last Dance
Lullaby
Fascination Street
Prayers for Rain
Babble

Then they bounced back and forth between pop and dark stuff.  Really a great show.

Not sure those going to Vegas will see anything like that, though.

the idea is really great and i hope the show gets close to the great set lists that people posted!!!  it doesn't make much sense for me to participate though, because i don't even know all the songs. I'm taking it slow  :D
so good luck everyone!!!!  :smth023

The rules say "up to" 35 songs, and since i feel this is a warm-up show for coachella, i do not think that many songs will be played (but it's not like that many will be played at coachella).

1. Underneath the Stars
2. Pictures of You
3. Lullaby
4. The Only One
5. The Reasons Why
6. The End of the World
7. From the Edge of the Deep Green Sea
8. Push
9. Just Like Heaven
10. In Between Days
11. The Real Snow White
12. Sleep When I'm Dead
13. A Strange Day
14. Primary
15. Charlotte Sometimes
16. Lovesong
17. Disintegration
18. One Hundred Years

19. Freakshow
20. It's Over (Baby Rag Dog Book!!!)
21. Close to Me
22. Why Can't I Be You?

23. M
24. A Forest

25. Boys Don't Cry

This was tough because I was torn between choosing the obvious casual-fan-pleasing songs vs. what I would really like to hear.

2 hours, 5 minutes.
