Great that you got a reply from the man himself!  :cool

I have no interest in watching the film (it will never happen) or reading the book. Robert & Lol may be on speaking terms now, but during his last few years in the band Lol had minimal musical input. He was disruptive, caused friction amongst fellow band members, left acrimoniously, and tried to sue Robert for royalties etc. Probably the least talented musician who has played in The Cure and now he's exploiting the band's name.

Hm idk.its just a rumor and also sadly the cure isn't as popular as Taylor swift,if it was made into a movie I would definitely watch it but barely any people I know listen to the cure. I think it would flop or maybe there's more cure fans out there than I anticipate. I do know that Taylor swift is like super famous so her movie didn't flop

Lots of people listen to the Cure. (Look at the millions the latest tour grossed.)

The trouble with the movie is: the storyline (a group recording albums & one member falling to pieces due to alcohol etc. isn't that "sensational", wonder who'd watch this?) and the actors (if they won't look "authentic" I wouldn't wanna watch it)!
