I got my KMKMKM re-issue some time ago from Amazon & it arrived without the booklet.
Naturally, I complained & was told it was too expensive to send the thing back, so they sent a 2nd one.
It arrived &...... no effing booklet!!!
I tried writing to the distributor & to geffen with absolutely no joy at all.
I only want the booklet :(
Anyone know how I can get hold of one?

Cheers.

Try writing Rhino, who put out the re-issues, perhaps?

Hi Rich.
That was the first thing I did & 2 months later.....nothing.
I'll give it another go though.

Who ended up replying and sending it?

Rhino, Universal, Geffen, other?

Good to hear that you got the book!

(I had the opposite happen a bunch of years ago. I had purchased some Jim Carroll CD, and there were 5 (!) inserts crammed into the packaging. Weird.)

Steve

Dr Rhino himself replied & is sending the said booklet.

Can't wait.
How was the upload by the way?

that's good news steve  :smth023

i've been wondering if they might bother sending over the lyric sheets for TIB remaster. probably not since it was already so "cleverly" arranged then that you could download and print your own...
i think that was so lame from them, like saying "ok sorry guys it looks like we screwed up the product and we understand you are kind of pissed since it was sort of pretty expensive too but hey don't worry because now you can always make your own!"
surely anyone can find and print the lyrics themselves from internet if needs to be but that was not the point...
(not to mention i didn't even have a freaking color printer at that time! hey it looked great on black and white...)

By that reasoning, they'll end up putting MP3's of the missing seconds from the TIB & Top re-issues.  :smth011

Steve

FLACS please!!

Marika.
Try dropping them an e mail.
Might take 2 goes, but worth a try.
Cheers.

Oh, I was joking. What I meant was: MP3s, ONLY of the missing seconds! Something akin to printing your own lyrics...

FLACs would be nice, but then I'd have to rip, burn and clear space on my shelf for another case. Bleh. But still, better than nothing.

If anything, I hope that the next batch of re-issues doesn't have the same boneheaded mistakes. Especially Wish.

hahaha - if they wanted to stay truly honest to their "style", for sure.
(or maybe they'd throw us some guitar tabs and say "hey go and record your own version! if you can't afford any real studio time then just go ahead and do it in your own bathroom! groovy!" :-D)

i truly hope they won't mess up 'disintegration'. i wouldn't forgive that so easily.

i guess i'll try to drop them an email or two sometime, maybe they'll send the booklet.
