hi can anyone help me?
how do you rename the doc files?
please help!!!
cheers

cult_hero

open my computer
select folder options from the tools menu (or choose options from the view menu in windows 95).
click on the view tab
turn off file extensions for known file types
press OK

now you can see the file-extensions and rename them easily by pressing F2

He's right. But in this case it's even easier to just type ".mp3" at the end of the file name when you save it.

other quick way :
copy the adress of the folder in the adress bar of windows explorer (show, adress bar, if not visible)
open the dos command prompt (start => execute => cmd)
type "cd" + one spce and paste the adress of the folder with a right click
and the type "ren *.doc *.mp3" and it 's done...

I use a little program that has been working without troubles on Windows XP, called Change Extension V1. You can get it at: http://home.nordnet.fr/~pmdevigne/ it is both in English and French
