It is fantastic. To tell you the truth, if I had to listen to this or 4:13 Dream I would choose Perfect As Cats. It's a very experimental album. 'Disintegration' is sung slow with a piano, 'Let's Go To Bed' is hard to recognize, 'The Lovecats' is sexy and slow, 'Hot Hot Hot!!!' sounds like something from the 60s, 'Close To Me' is played with an acoustic guitar by the lovely Kaki King, the acoustic guitar also pops up on 'The Drowning Man', 'Lovesong' makes me cry, 'Charlotte Sometimes' will make you want to dance in your room when no one is watching, '10:15 Saturday Night' is in French (I think), 'Jumping Someone Else's Train' is too cool for words, 'Pictures Of You' features violins and the crackling of an old LP together with beautiful female vocals, 'A Forest' is breath taking and 'Fascination Street' is mezmerising.

Fantastic release of some of The Cure's best songs. The bands/singers are not very well known, but that doesn't matter, they do tremendous versions and are all very talented. Some of the interpretations and arrangements and extrememly different to the originals which makes this a fun release to listen to. It also makes it interesting. I think every fan of The Cure should go out a pick this one up because it is a well crafted release with brilliant sound quality and you can tell that these people really admire and care about The Cure. Most of the singers are female and sound great. The only tracks I skipped over were 'Why Can't I Be You', 'The Walk' and 'The Caterpillar'. This probably isn't for everyone but I loved it.

2 big thumbs up!  :smth023 :smth023

I read this as well. But it was on the Australian iTunes so I snapped it up yesterday and haven't stopped listening to it since.

Strangely enough, I liked this tribute (usually I can't stand tributes at all) - sort of.
A Forest by Bat for Lashes is really fantastic!
But I dare say I loved Just Like Heaven Tribute much more!
How time will heal, make me forget?!

Well that´s great news to me. I saw it on sale for 169:- (£ 10) at Ginza and now, after hearing this, I´m gonna score. Thanx!

Corridors version of "The kiss" is hands down the very best.

It is its own song yet the spirit of the original is there, oh! its soo there.
