i didnt have to part with them! i just realised they never get played - the tickets pins and stuff have been in a box for so long - and when i was at wembley this year i realised a lot of fans are sooooo young and they missed out..so they can collect like i once did..but i have the memories... who was the first band i saw - the cure ..what year 1979..so i get to keep memories and collectors they can get the good stuff.. oh yea i've got that banshee ticket stub to put online 14/9/79...

i used to collect official releases way back too and later i've often thought about selling most of them, for the same reasons: collecting doesn't bring me the thrill it used to so perhaps someone else might enjoy it in their turn? it's a nice thought.
but i guess i love vinyl too much to part with them - and i still play them regularly, even more than cds.
