This has been out for a while now, but I thought it was worth mentioning:

This is exactly like what Robert used from around 1979-1981, except without the Silvertone pickup in the middle.

This just has to be better than the much cheaper (sunburst :x) Japanese re-issue I bought in the late '90s!

Either one looks pretty cool to me!  :D

Here's a video of the guitar in action. I'd challenge anyone to see if you can spot the mini-Cure song in there. It's just a few notes, and I'm sure it's not intentional... But it is a Cure song that was played on a '62 Jazzmaster.  ;)

they are great great guitars!!
once in a while fender does something right in the non vintage era.

i have the 62 jaguar ri and couldn't be happier with it.
have to get a JM one day to add to the collection.
