That's why I used to put it abouve my stereo - that had (and still has) all three components.

i see. i think your poster was faded because it was old. my is really faded too, it's from the 80s too. or it could have been that the print quality was inferior back then too.
this poster has been reprinted many times over the years, last time i looked you could buy new reprinted copies on ebay in mint condition. those had sharp bright colors as this one. so i think this one here is exactly similar to the old advert.

Wow, that promo brings back great memories, I remember the anticipation of the "LP" back in spring 89... no youtube etc then for unoficial previews. Got the first bus to Newcastle on the day of release and spent the rest of the day listening to it again and again! It's certainly my most played album, and can honestly say I listened to it at least once per day while doing my A-level courses. Never tire of it, a classic.

I've got the postcard of that promo pic on my bass amp, along with a simon photo from the Prayer Tour. Not that it make my bass playing any better like!!!
