But not even a sigh from The Cure, neither from Universal.
Kinda worrying!

:?

Usually there should be at least the news about the new batch of remasters.

yes, that's exactly what i meant when i said "how about the 'disintegration' deluxe version?" in that other thread.

reason to worry? i don't know. imo, compared to many other groups, the cure (=robert) has never been very interetsing to give much information about anything to his fans anyway.
i can remember examples when he's been all pissed about some info leaking out though.

Say hello on a day like today
Say it every time you move
The way that you look at me now
Makes me wish i was you

A quiet 30th anniversary year... I expect there will be work going on behind closed doors somewhere

Secrets

No label, remasters dead in the water for now, poor sales of what really was a much improved effort on the last album, a tour before the delayed release, a missing second half of the last sessions. Talk about the last 12-18 months being a total cluster-f in Cureland.

And all around it's deathly quiet...dark foreboding.

 Some rumors and some news:

Quoteapinkdream:

2 Be confirmed?

from a guy supposed to work for BMG (from the french forum apinkdream)!

Translation:

"Hello,
I know the forum for quite some time but I never had the desire to open an account.
My name is Ludo, I live in London and works at BMG (I said little job).
I come on this forum to announce a very bad news, surely a few here are aware of a way or another, but Robert will announce next week during a special interview the end of The Cure. A page turns, but this time it is unfortunately true & Very sad
The news will be relayed across all media.
For no believers > you have evidence Wednesday 23.
Regards, Ludo"

COF:

No more remastered CDs from Rhino?
Kent asked Rhino about when the next remastered Cure CDs would be out, and got this very disappointing answer: "We do not have current plans for further Cure reissues, but thank you for your email. I will forward your message to our suggestion box.
- Dr. Rhino"
How do you stop just before releasing the two albums (Disintegration and Wish) that are probably the most anticipated, and best sellers, in the program? (Thanks Kent)
