The only 2 Cure songs I haven't heard 1 million times are "Pillbox Tales" and "Do The Hansa" (the 2 b-sides of the 1986 re-released Boys Don't Cry *new voice / new mix version).
I know "Pillbox Tales" and "Do The Hansa" were originally written and recorded during the Three Imaginary Boys era.
But the versions on the 1986 re-released Boys Don't Cry single sound like they have been re-recorded in 1986 ?, I'm positive at least Robert's vocals are from 1986, but think I remember hearing Michael Dempsey sing the backing vocals in "Do The Hansa".
I know Michael Dempsey came back in 1986 to make the video clip for Boys Don't Cry, did he record new vocals for "Do The Hansa" then too ?
And can anyone confirm whether the music is from 1979 or re-recorded in 1986 ?, did Dempsey re-record the bass in 1986 when he came back to make the Boys Don't Cry video clip ?
I know something about all this is noted on the sleeve of the single, does anbody know what it says ?
Thanks !
