...haha that'd be too easy!

Of course. But many years ago I had a meal w/ seafood - that night I had a strange dream about being on a beach in the water and fish (shark?) trying to bite me.  :o

he said ' pass me my clippers so I can cut that f*****g hair off'....  At least he has not lost that part of him.

Oh well, some things never change, eh?
Thanks for reporting - I think it'll be good for him to see your faces every now and then. (Plus if possible play him some old music from his past, I heard it can be a good experience.)

They do not :) I shall try that with him. I know that sometimes giving them something to love, like a doll helps them too but I don't think he's the doll type. I intend to just spend some quality time with him, as much as the family will allow and go from there.

WOAW- you're dream is mental, the prawns remind me of a SA film. If I put a psychology hat on (it's not a good hat btw) it would seem (see, already using the shrink like words) your overseeing a situation from a distance and battling your own sense of morality. Then you discover and accept them for who they really are and begin to understand the gravity of their purpose, finding solace in it.

The shrink would then ask you...do you know who you really are inside?

Fire the shrink. Eat the shrimp.

Wow I love your guess, but I don't think it quite fits.  ...you probably won't believe this, but I'm a psychologist ("shrink")!! And a vegetarian!!  ...Please change your slogan from Fire the shrink, Eat the shrimp to > Hire the shrink, Feed the shrimp !!

...Yes I am aware of the irony, and should be interpreting my own dreams! In my defense I work with kids, and don't specialise in psychoanalysis or dream analysis :)

Hahaha well you certainly have the trickery of a psychologist, tripping us up trying to guess :P

I took a stab. I have quite the fear of sea life, perhaps your skills will come in handy unravelling that?

Consider the shrink hired. Keep the shrimp...as far away as possible...

Yes, the effects of listening to music for dementia seems quite remarkable ...in Australia they've done some research, and there's a great clip here that talks about it (hopefully can be viewed from other countries)

I recall when I first watched this and heard that the most powerful effects come from the music which is personal to the person (such as favourite music from the past).  ...so...perhaps in a few decades we could be elderly folk listening to The Cure for therapeutic purposes?!

Great idea!  :smth023
In any case, it is a good idea to spend some time with (older or younger) relatives - as they say "loneliness" is a problem these days for many.

Well, I hope my relatives and others will remember that I do like The Cure (and more) and won't start playing me cheesy 80s pop I can't stand any more!

(Btw I think the video can be viewed from here!)

I'm trying to decide on whether I should have Catalana Crema in coffee or Baileys? I'm celebrating my freedom, last class of the year was today. Next- exams. But Easter first. Eggs. Lots of them.

Side bar: watching Over The Garden Wall with spooks, has anyone seen or heard of it? (Have i asked this before? I feel as though I might of?! Losing my marbles...perhaps it's time to stop watching cartoons haha) I realise many might not watch cartoons, but it is excellently dark and has some supremely catchy tunes in it  :)

I know the great feeling of being University-free, even if it is just for a little bit  :-D

Now thinking about tomorrow's lunch with my family. Happy Easter everyone!  :)
