I always had an ultimate Cure show that I wanted to go to and it was to see the Cure at Glastonbury.
In 1995 this came true!
This was a dream come true and basically was my first and last Glastonbury as no other Glastonbury would never be as good as 1995!
I was listening to my bootleg of the show last night and had to chuckle with regard to Roberts comment of 'this is another new song which might be on the next mythical album' before playing 'Jupiter Crash'.
I'm not at Glastonbury this year but hope all the Cure fans that are there have an excellent time and the memory stays with them for a very long time of The Cure at Glastonbury as it has for me, and maybe just maybe some new songs may surface from the next mythical album'!

Very unlikely, I can't see The Cure playing new songs in a mainstream festival like Glastonbury. And now that you mention 1995, I was watching this the other day and miss the way/sound of Jason's drumming back then. I liked it more than now.
Totally agree, can't see them playing new tracks but would be nice if they did, and they did in '95, so who knows anything could happen 🤔

Probably won't happen, as Robert says the new songs are like 10 minutes of "gloom", so won't fit into a set at a summer festival:

Correct, Robert has confirmed that. I will see them in Serbia and Greece and that's it, no more festivals for me this year.
Well what ever they play and wherever they play they are still the best band ever! No Cure set list is ever bad!
@dsanchez enjoy those festivals in Serbia and Greece!
Just to say that the Glastonbury show was absolutely awesome even if I had to watch from the comfort of my living room chair!
If anyone has an audio recording please let me know!

John Robb; nice bloke, I met him in Stuttgart a couple of years ago.
He's been running that website for quite a while and also plays in a band called
The Membranes.
