Title: audio players with flac support for mac users
Post by: japanesebaby on July 31, 2007, 00:03:52
recent discussion about difficulties with flac playback reminded me of this:

for mac users, if you might need something to replace the old macamp(liteX) and something that would have with a bit more resources/gimmicks but would still be very small and handy, you can check out tooplayer:

http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/32403

it supports for most common file types, including FLAC, MP3, AAC, Musepack, Monkey's Audio, OGG Vorbis, Apple Lossless, AIFF, WAV etc.
+ it comes with an effect box so if you need to an instant pitch correction for your 11th gen AUD tape or if you feel like adding some echo or reverb to make poor ol' bob's whining more bearable then that can be arranged. ;)

if you want to try something more like itunes then maybe this is worth a try:

i haven't used that one myself though so i don't know if it's really good. maybe someone knows better.
anyway, i hope this helps someone.
