My Oz BF loves The Cure. he first saw them at Bangalow bowling Club,
Northern New South Wales,.in 1981.
But, even though he's been with them,more than me. I know more about them , than he does. lol

Here i am again, finding myself in an awkward situation...now i have to express how depressed i am...

Well, i've been thinking. and i think that women dont like men who like the cure. (Hey, I'm going to start capitalising again...kay?)

I mean, I'm one of two people in my school who likes The Cure. The other person is my school therapist. So he and I have long discussions about The Cure, Siouxsie, Bauhaus, and the likes. So far I haven't met any girls who like them as much as I do...and I think that my strange, almost "gay" obsession with the band members is off-putting to many girls. I think they think I'm gay. And I wouldn't blame them, how much I talk about Robert...

I need some girl who's equally as psychotic and maniacal about the Cure as I am...then we could screw while listening to PORNOGRAPHY.

I'm sorry...songs about death and sadness turn me on. Am I getting a little too awkward? Well, it's in my nature...

dude... i hate girl like that...they must be like paris hilton...whatever they said i just ignore....i still like the cure....at this moment the cure is part of my life....

i have a same problem like you...in my country...not lots of people know about the cure...

when i said do you know about the cure..and they said what is cure???? ....stupid....some of man in my country, don't know about the cure even the name they never heard about it...poor them hahahaha

we are in a same situation,,,,, i really thank you to my friend 'husna'....she taught me about the cure....i love her so much...thanks husna....

But if i describe too much about that i will also get awkward and blush...

Last boyfriend i had, never heard much of "The Cure", i was spending alot of time at his house, so eventually I took all my LP's over,
of the Cure- naturally,
and played them non stop, or couple hours a day, loud.
He ended up loving them aswell, and didnt know how good they are, He'd only heard the radio stuff before hand, so he really loved
hearing all the best LP's, like Pornography, Discintergration, Head 'Door, Imaginary boys, 17 sec's, etc, etc

But it was a 'big thing'- for me to take my LP's to anyone house- thats when i guess we both knew it would be a long relationship.
But we never went to bed listening to some nice slow, deep music.

Always next relationship around I suppose, thats one of my fantasies too ~ giggles ~ but more so hug's, and long kissing,
and romance, rather than just a screw.

It's good to know us Curefans have somethings in common. It's comforting to know we all share the same pain...somehow.

Is it just me or does The Cure seem to have an appeal to people with depression? Because they are my favorite band, and judging by my awesomely rad quote, "I am extremely depressed!"

Maybe I just read into things....
