Title: Do the Cure write a lot of their songs in minor keys?
Post by: Seaside33 on June 29, 2014, 22:07:23
Hello everyone,

First post.

I was wondering are most Cure songs in minor keys?

And does anyone know if these two songs are in minor?
Disintegration
Charlotte Sometimes

Thanks

I don't know about "most" cure songs being in a minor key. Not more than any other band I would think.

As for your questions, Disintegration is in C major and Charlotte Sometimes is in D minor.
Thanks

Hello!

Just do get this straight: Disintegration is in E minor, not C major. No idea about the major/minor relation in the band's body of work though.
