I wonder if Robert will make any statements about the book-probably too busy on the road. So far it seems that Simon and Porl have been supportive, with Porl showing up at least one event. C'mon Bob. We want to hear your thoughts!

In one of those interviews or Q&A's (linked above), Lol was asked about that. Said he sent Robert the book, hopes he's read it, but hasn't heard back from him (yet).
I think it is a wise move of Robert to let the book do it's business (and comment later, if at all). Interviews are nowhere to be seen during this Cure tour, it seems. Maybe there will be an interview one day, maybe he'll be asked about the book then...

It's been up for a while so a lot of stuff is already gone, but Lol is letting some of his old Cure memorabilia go to raise money for a book tour.

Still available: Gold records (Faith, HOTD, BDC), tour books, laminated passes, poster from 1978...

(Very wise of them to choose Lovesong as an example, as Lol isn't in that video...)

When I bought the first ticket, they only had one front row seat left, so my wife would have to end up being seated somewhere else...behind me if we were fortunate enough.  Then there was a second charge on the account for another front row seat.  I e-mailed the guy handling the tickets (Stefan) and he told me  that for some unknown reason, a second 1st row seat showed up.  I asked how many front row seats there were to begin with and he said 5.  Five seats.  Turns out it's a tiny radio station studio so this is going to be fun.  With comedians you never want to sit in the front row because people in the front row inevitably become part of the show whether they want to or not.  I think we're pretty safe in Lol's hands there.  Original Cure member on the 28th and original Joy Division member on the 3rd, then the election on the 8th.  The next few weeks are going to be...crazy.
