With all of this and the (re-)release of Mantaray, it makes me think it's 2007 again! ;) :beaming-face

QuoteSiouxsie Sioux last performed live at the Yoko Ono-curated Meltdown festival in London in 2013, and has not toured since a 2008 outing in support of her solo debut Mantaray.

The announcement follows confirmation of an appearance at Latitude Festival, Mouth Of The Tyne Festival, Summer Nights At The Bandstand concert series in Glasgow in July, along with additional live dates in Europe. She also has one US performance lined up, headlining Cruel World Festival in May.

As well as these dates, Siouxsie Sioux is set to play a hometown show at London's Troxy, and a show at Wolverhampton's Civic at the Hall. Without mentioning whether any more dates will be added to Sioux's summer run of shows, an email statement to fans read: "The London show will be the culmination of a mixture of intimate shows and festivals from May through September."

QuoteIt's been at least decade since Siouxsie Sioux of Siouxsie and The Banshees fame played a proper live show, but that changes this year! Ahead of the enigmatic musician's European tour this year, she had a warm-up show in Brussels at the Ancienne Belgique, performing a set that included many a Banshees classic.

QuoteSiouxsie mesmerised the audience with her raw, emotional delivery of twelve Banshees songs and three tracks from her Mantaray album. She also covered two songs and performed a classic from her former band, The Creatures. The crowd was in perfect sync with Siouxsie, singing along with her and dancing to her upbeat tunes. Siouxsie interacted brilliantly with her fans, pointing her microphone to the audience to encourage everyone to sing along, and the crowd went wild.
