I have heard when robert played this song for the first time in 1986 he had to cry because he remembered the time when he wrote it and so he was very mixed up. Definitly it's one of the best songs he ever had written. There are so many feelings indside and so many sadness. Once I said to a friend who was interested in the faith album that he not should hear it if he is in danger for suicide :? But he was well and he enjoyed it....
Does anyone know the version from Rome '89. I've never heard a most agressive version like that. It's a very depressing version but nevertheless so wonderful. Never lose the Faith!!!

Of course it's hard to choose the best song of the cure, it depends a lot on the mood, but faith is simply perfect.

That version of "Faith" is so disturbing to listen to. It's amazing but I really don't like to hear it because it's so creepy. But hearing Robert pour himself out like that is...wow.

I have this version and it is very POWERFUL!! I just sat in awe of this version of the song when I first heard it! It is AMAZING!!! Robert is so emotional and passionate in it! I think it is just INCREDIBLE!!!
