FIVE SWING LIVE - A plea for help

Hi

As a cure fan and a collector of all things CURE, I was looKing through my collection and when I got to my copy of FIVE SWING LIVE I realised they are numbered (there were only 5000 printed). I had an inspiration I know that Cure fans are spread all round the world, so I thought I wonder who has these it is easy to say you have a copy of Disintegration, or Pornography anyone can get these, but only 5000 of us have a copy of the original Five Swing Live.

So I looked on Amazon and there are 4 copies up for sale (numbers included on Amazon) and I was amazed (but shouldnt have been) to see that these sell for between $200 and $500US.

So I wondered who has these and why do we all want to collect so much CURE memorobilia etc.

So I have decided to start a world wide search to discover where these 5000 copies are and who has them.

I NEED YOUR HELP, if you have a copy please contact me with the copy number. If it looks like it is an achievable study I shall pursue it through as far as I can and publish on line (NO NAMES of course) where the CD's are located.

please let us know the outcome of your research. I bet most of the copies are located in Europe.

D Sanchez thank you for the brilliant info, a great start, I received an email this morning form a fan in Greece, so the study is now underway and your posts will surley help in my goal. I also posted on the forum on The Cure website, so hopefully that will also be of some hlep and once word is out I am sure it wil gather pace

Hi Murray, yes, there was a Greek fan in our Facebook page who said he had the copy No 3440. I guess is the same person? And not, unfortunately I don't own a copy but I am sure some other people here at curefans.com have one, hopefully they will let you know.

Ooohhh claps to you for this kind of thing... how interesting!! I don't have a copy of this and now I bloody want one hahaha!! Anyways, good luck with it, these kinds of things can end up being really cool hehehe... keep us updated on it please
