More minutes for the best band of the world: "Tonight's concert at the San Miguel stage at 10:10pm of the british band The Cure will go on for fifteen minutes longer than anticipated. This change will affect the following concerts, that will start later than planned:"

I just have a confirmation that the YouTube streaming seems to be restricted to certain countries, and Germany is one of them :(

the show was from 10.10 to 1.05, my feet are dead!
maybe a pop section too long but the encores...fight, i only listened in 87 and a powerful and different just one kiss!!!
they seem to enjoy to play very much, rob and roger laughed many times, reeves made a great show and this could be the reincarnation of the best lineup of all times with reeves on perry guitar.

Yeah thanks. Was too tired to keep online so late :)
Love Jason's drumming in "Push", however, I still can't stand those horrible background sequences at the beginning and middle of the song
thanks for the download!! :)

Yes, it's a "Flac" indeed :) In this case I would personally download the MP3 only.

You're right, just left the MP3 link, it's enough for a YouTube rip :smth023
HI Jojo
here I was lucky enough to go to Barcelona .
i wish i had sorted it out to have gone day before as would have loved to have seen Mazzy Star & Death cab for Cutie But . Couldn't afford, the extra expense as still got 5 more Cure gigs to see & am working as much as possible to afford this.
the set up of Primavera festival i really liked & I saw a couple of Spanish bands which i foolishly didn't write done the names of .who were excellent also the Cameleons also great I saw some Rufus wainwright who isnt my thing but was a good performer ( I prefer his Fathers Materiel)
The Cure were absolutely Awesome I was standing in front of the Barrier at the sound desk as i had bag with me with didnt want to risk losing but met really nice Austrian couple Thomas &Anya Who had a good laugh with as my friend Ian was Feeling Claustrophobic and stood in a less enclosed space (he came back at encore .( will write more later )

actually, lossless youtube audio seems to be possible these days, thanks to HD. yet to my knowledge, all webcast audio such as this still tends to be lossy (=compressed). i'm not sure as i didn't follow the original webcast, but i doubt it this was webcast in HD?
these flacs might be just lossy files encoded to flac, which means it's not 'real' flac but 'fake' flac.
one can see this by looking at the spectrum (see attachments): the curve plummets real deep at the high end and there're hardly any frequencies above 20kHz, which indicates this is of
lossy origin.
if i may, i'd say it might be better to offer just the mp3 link for this.
it's nice enough to have that though and nice that it was webcast at all.

Yes, indeed. I am surprised they allowed this "Flac" to be published on Dimeadozen.

they did? that's odd. i do remember they've taken down files for less evidence than this many times.
anyway, i don't personally mind that much now, flac or mp3 - whatever i guess. there're better things to worry about in life than that :D

Agree, there are certainly more important things! but after all I guess it was good to take off the Flac link as people would save a bit of their time :)
Now waiting for someone to make a dvd of the youtube webcasts... Welcome to the 21st century.

well they always do that anyway. with that said, maybe the best not to care too much.
life's too short for lossy music, true, but i also find it way too short for worrying about any such matters anymore. :)
On dime ...
