Really good live album !!!! The bass is very forward, Smith is like always incredibly good !!!! and finally there are keyboards.....Sound is soooo great!!!!! :smth023

Oh I'm torture myself ... all those nice comments ... I asked my parents to buy this for christmas, so I need to wait ;)

A new Cure live album, from their acclaimed "Bestival" set and it's profits are for charity (Isle of Wight youth trust). I can't see any reason not to buy this! So I did...
Yes, it's an enjoyable festival set. Yes, the addition of Roger on keys is welcome! (But Porl is missing a bit...) Yes, Simon and Robert do sound good. But the plastic drum sound (as someone had mentioned elsewhere) is not very good indeed.
Highlights for me: Lovesong, Push, Hungry Ghost, Caterpillar, Grinding Halt... etc.!  :)
The holy city breathed like a dying man...
