From the top of my head:
Apart
Homesick
Home
What else?
Let's Go To Bed
If Only Tonight We Could Sleep
Disintegration
In Your House
The Only One
Where The Birds Always Sing
A Strange Day
In Between Days
Breathe
There Is No If
Babble
A Japanese Dream
Maybe Someday
And for people like my husband, who don't enjoy socialising and are grateful to have a civilised excuse not to: Just Like Heaven
A Short-Term Effect
The Wailing Wall
Snakepit
The Empty World
In The Same Deep Water as You
Closedown
If Only Tonight We Could Sleep
The Hanging Garden
The Top
"I'm going nowhere" is definitely missing from your lists!!!
Disintegration (album) ...on repeat.
Who remembers that ukulele re-interpretation/parody called
Friday I'm At Home (or was it
Friday Stay At Home? - I can't find the thing at the moment) that somebody on FB did in technicolour make-up and with a hair-raising wig, as a lockdown theme?
We were thinking about that today, and about a potential Mozart-Salieri moment.
For those of you who don't remember the scene from
Amadeus:
Brett was saying, "Wouldn't it have been great fun if Robert Smith had picked up an acoustic guitar and a webcam and re-interpreted that re-interpretation of his piece? And made it 15 minutes long, with lots of additional lyrics to
really capture the atmosphere of lockdown, and additional musical flourishes?"
...because we're sure he could have made that even funnier than Ukulele Dude. And it could have been followed by a re-interpretation of
One Hundred Years... :angel
PS: A few people have jumped on this bandwagon. Here's one of the better versions...
