I am surprised for a number of Disintegration songs in the set...
Plainsong, Lovesong, Fascination street, lullaby, Pictures of you, Disintegration...

Half of this record was played...

Amazing...

sadly the other half won't be played because of the lack of keyboard players on stage these days

i think it's better they don't even try - the guitar version of 'prayers for rain' in mexico wasn't very impressive.
but imo they have enough interesting material to look into instead - that is if they only tried!

No surprises.....but replacing Open/End  with Plainsong/Disintegration is big improvement in my mind

or maybe not, because it's being the same thing as in mexico shows. of course, without the songs that ppl want to hear like hanging garden or other voices, just to name a few.
i almost bet that in 2 days they will open with out of this world and end with bloodflowers.
"looking for love in a trashcan"

I was thinking the same thing about the Bloodflowers opener and closer.

They played a large amount of Disentegration songs on Curiosa too.  I think when I saw them they played more from that album than the self titled one.

I'd like to see them do a Bloodflowers themed encore, like the one with 39 and Bloodflowers.

Jonas gave me the correct setlist. Main order was different to what AdamClayten told and also last encore had two more songs.

Yes, I think so too. But what will happen on the 4th show (Hamburg)? Want/Bare or Shake Dog Shake/The Top or The Kiss/Fight or will they repeat Open/End?
I also really hope, they will play the full last encore with TIB and FIC.
Still hoping for a Faith encore incl. Other Voices. I'm already excited

I think it was a really good show, even if I have seen them 25 times before :D This easily made it into my top 10 Cure-shows, not because of the setlist, which was good, considering this was their first show in Norway in 16 years. Even though I would have loved the Faith-encore they played in Mexico instead of the seventeen seconds-encore which they have played on the majority of shows I've attended before (except at night), I think this really suited the Oslo-audience.
I'm sure when they play germany, france, italy, spain, the two polish shows, the more obscure and darker stuff will emerge. They are really in a really good mood, it's a joy seeing Robert dance, joke and making faces. The lights for Plainsong (and Pictures) are so beautiful. The wish-like animation in the background for Friday I'm love was also great.
One interesting note: Please project has changed a bit since last year. The chorus now appears later in the song (after 4 verses, instead of 2 verses) + Robert has added some new singing (not lyrics, just some oooing) between the 2nd and 3rd verse + there are 2 new verses before the last chorus (1. "I love what you do to my skin", 2. "I love what you do to my bones". Also, Robert ended Please project by saying "thank you, this don't have a title, yet" (If I understood him correctly). Which means (if I didn't misinterpret him, and if he wasn't lying)that the new album is still not finished.
