 1. Disintegration (the best album i've ever heard)
2. Wish (i like it so much,i mean the whole era)
3. Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me (there are so many different moods on it)
4. The Head On The Door (it's charming!)
5. Seventeen Seconds (also a masterpiece)
6. Faith (without Doubt and Funeral Party it has to be in the first three)
7. Pornography (the dark Bible)
8. Bloodflowers (too dark,i miss some poppy song..)
9. The Top (it's a ten track trip and i don't take lsd more)
10. Three Imaginary Boys (too punk,it's not the cure)
11. Wild Mood Swings (conflict with Bloodflowers,too much poppy song)
12. The Cure (i can't say anything about this album..)

  i think the first seven on my list are excellent albums, but the
  others i listen not so much (except few songs from it)

Funny, those are also the 2 songs that impress me the least and that bring the album a bit down, but not much. It's still their 3rd best for me, because those 2 songs are good and the rest of the album shows The Cure at their best. The only real problem, as I've said before, is that Robert's vocals on most tracks seem to be too upfront... maybe if his voice back then was as powerful as it nowadays this wouldn't matter at all, but since in 1981 he was still "learning", occasionally he sounds more whiney than he should.

yeah, you right. he sings now the old songs better than in the past, he has so
strong voice nowadays. it's just mine opinion but i like more the style of The
Kiss, when he sing not so much despite i like his voice a lot..but the new ones
nearly all ending with words, not with just the music. i like the long instrument
opening, then he sing a bit and then just the instruments ended the song (a
perfect example is the live versions of A Forest, wich is my favorite Cure song
ever). but like i said before i love his voice so much!!!

This is going to take a long time to think of, hmm let's see.

(1 Join The Dots 11/10, despite it being 70 songs, it really is just my fav Cure work, buuut it's not an album so gah)

1. Disintegration 10/10, no doubt, my fav one, fav album ever.
2. Wish 9.5/10, I'm extremely emotionally attatched to Cut, TWIT, End, Elise, and unstuck. And Friday is always fun ;p
3. Kiss me, Kiss me, Kiss me 9/10, Just such a fun album! Has everything on it really, One More time being my fav
4. Blooflowers, 8.5/10 This is where it's gonna get tricky for (yes im doing this as i go lol) Loudest Sound is another track that I just feel so connected with, it's pure genius really, the whole album seems like a lazy dream like you want to sleep forever
5. Wild Mood Swings 8/10, Really, I just love this album, most of it is... well not crap, but not my cup of tea really. But Want, Club America, Trasure and Bare are amazing songs. And Bare aone helped me through so much.
6. Faith 8/10, An album that I can listen to back to back over and over again and it feels fresh everytime. All Cats Are Gray being my fav, so beautiful and sad. Makes me feel like I'm in a cave alone like just watching a forest outside raining, it's something I love.
7. The Head on the Door 8/10, This album to me always felt like Kiss Me's mini-me, just a fun album. Push is always a fav, it's just like the perfect song, I know Cure haters that like it heh.
8. The Cure 7/10, I'm not an old fan, I saw the vid for End of the World, and I' like... WTF? But it is the start of the Cure for me, and the album isn't bad, it's just not as good as it could have been. Before Three is orgasmic, and Going Nowhere is amazing.
9. Three Imaginary Boys/Boys Don't Cry 7/10, Most of it just isn't really my style of music, but it's great fun none the less. Boys Don't Cry is just such a perfect song though
10. Pornography 7/10, I easily don't like it as much as most Cure fans musically, but I still do feel the power in the songs and the pure emotion put into each one. I don't think the Cure's emotion is more powerful in any other album.
11. The Top 6.5/10, It's kinda weird to me, really "bleh" I guess, buuuut, for some reason I like it.
12. Seventeen Secons 6/10, Sadly, I just couldn't get into this, like Pornogrpahy. Play for Today and M are really great, and A Forest is just like the staple song of this era.

Eh, that's how I feel at the moment, I'd prolly play around with the boddom ones more. I don't dislike any album, sometimes it's just my mood.

And how "Dream 13" is looking so far, I'm sure it'd be one of my favs. UTS quickly became one of my all time fav songs, and ABINK is just... beautiful. The album feels like, um, what "The Cure" was supposed to be, with the Wish era heavily influencing it.

This is so difficult. I love something from pretty much every Cure album. I took the b-sides into consideration as well... some albums have much stronger b-sides than album tracks.

Sorry - I can't rate them, but if I had to list an order this would be it.

That said, I usually listen to live stuff which is usually a collection of my favorite tunes from all the cds. So I hear "The Kiss" a lot, but rarely "Fight".

I would like to put on a B-sides album if there was one to get. I have some difficulties to apprahend the hide and seek RS often have played with the bands B-sides. Some great songs are to be find there.

Also I would like to shout out loud for the Happily Ever After - album. It´s great to have both Seventeen Seconds and Faith on one item.
